Tell me where you are, what you're hoping to get out of it, and any injuries or surgeries I should know about. WhatsApp or Instagram, whichever you prefer.
I'll send the slots I have open that week. Most people start with one session to see how it feels before committing to a schedule.
I arrive fifteen minutes early with mats, blocks and straps. You need about two metres of clear floor and nothing else.

I'm a Filipina-American yoga instructor based in Makati. I found yoga through athletics — as the thing that kept my body working when training was breaking it down — and I've been teaching privately in Metro Manila since YEAR.
Most of the people I work with are professionals in their twenties and thirties who sit at a desk all day, have tried a studio class or two, and found it either intimidating or too fast. Private sessions fix that. You get to ask questions. You get corrected properly. And nobody is watching you.
I teach Vinyasa and Yin, and I adjust the pace to the person in front of me. If you've never done a downward dog in your life, that's a completely normal place to start.
See you on the mat.
I travel to clients across Metro Manila. These are the areas I'm in most often:
Outside these areas, a small transport fee applies based on round-trip Grab fare. Message me with your address and I'll quote it upfront.
It's the best place to start. In a studio class of twenty people, a teacher can't watch your knee or fix your shoulder. One-on-one, we spend the first session on the handful of shapes everything else is built from, at whatever pace you need. Most complete beginners feel comfortable by session three.
Private sessions in Metro Manila generally run between ₱1,500 and ₱4,000 per hour depending on the teacher's certification, whether they travel to you, and how far. One-on-one sessions with Johanna are ₱2,500 including travel within Makati, BGC and Rockwell, with equipment provided.
Check for a Yoga Alliance registration such as RYT-200 rather than an unnamed certificate. Ask whether they work around injuries — a good teacher asks about your history before you book. And take a single session before buying a package, because teaching style is personal.
No. Mats, blocks and straps are brought to every session. If you'd prefer to use your own mat for hygiene reasons, just say so beforehand.
About two metres by one metre of clear floor per person. A living room with the coffee table moved aside works. Many buildings in Rockwell, BGC and Ortigas also have a function room or gym studio you can reserve.
Yes. Early mornings from 6:00am and evenings are the most requested slots and book out first. Weekend mornings are also available.
Send me a message and tell me a little about yourself. I'll reply with my open slots this week.
